BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards 20102013 Spring TourVery pleased to announce that, after a summer of fantastic festival appearances this year, Jon Boden & The Remnant Kings will be touring in March 2013. The band line-up includes fellow-Bellowheaders Sam Sweeney and Paul Sartin, plus concertina maestro Robert Harbron and double bass genius Rick Foot. Not to mention the return of Eric and Edith the wax cylinder machines…

Not all details are finalised yet but it’s looking like most of the gigs will feature an after-show sing in the venue bar. So plenty of time to get learning some songs to sing with the band (www.afolksongaday.com if you’re short of material…)
2012 Summer Festivals
Festival season is upon us again. Jon Boden & The Remnant Kings have already played storming sets at Gate to Southwell and Big Session festivals. You can also catch them at Folk East and Shrewsbury Folk Festival in August, and Jon will be playing solo sets at Towersey and Sidmouth.
Jon will also be playing a whole raft of festivals with Fay Hield & The Hurricane Party, Bellowhead, and Spiers and Boden.
We're sure it's going to be beautiful weather for all of them…

A Folk Song A Day - Midsummer Concert
Come and celebrate the last day of Jon's A Folk Song A Day project at Cecil Sharp House on Thursday 23rd June. Jon will be performing with the Remnant Kings plus special guests Fay Hield & Peta Webb. The concert will be followed by a big sing in the bar - all welcome to join in. Tickets available here.
